The extremely durable cardboard served as the foundation for the LBXs, specialized micro robots created by Tiny Orbit that were previously outlawed owing to their destructive nature. Due to the specific battlefield, their popularity has increased once more, and LBX unique models were created. Ban Yamano (Van Yamano in the English dub), a male middle school student, has been given the LBX "AX-00" by a mysterious woman, which contains a Platinum Capsule, four years after the birth of the super-strong cardboard. The woman revealed to Ban that his father is still alive and that he was aware of a covert government conspiracy. The Platinum Capsule and the LBX must be kept safe by Ban because their contents have the potential to alter the course of history.
