PLOT
Although Joe Shimamura and his friends appear to be ordinary folks, they are anything but. In reality, Joe is Cyborg 009, a member of a team of cyborgs that fights for the greater good. Every cyborg has a unique skill, such as the capacity to melt any material or the ability to fly and breathe underwater. He, along with the other eight cyborgs, were altered without their consent by the Neo-Black Ghosts group for their own purposes. Instead, they made the decision to unite and use their special abilities to battle both their previous oppressors and all bad forces.
