The world has returned to calm some days after Link Joker's fatal conflict, which engulfed the entire planet. Toshiki Kai, however, is in an unexpected circumstance. The hero Aichi Sendou, who defended the planet from Link Joker's invasion, vanished out of thin air. Additionally, no one can recall anything about Aichi... Since almost all of the clues have vanished, Kai begins to search Aichi using "Blaster Blade" and the deck of Royal Paladin, which contains the final remaining clue and evidence of their ties. Fighters with the moniker "Quatre Knights" approach Kai. Gaillard, Neve, Ratie, and Sera are four fighters who have exceptional power in vanguard battles. They encourage Kai to stop looking for Aichi and have mysterious power. What do they want with us...? And what is their connection to Aichi? Kai battles to reclaim Aichi while holding the brand-new power "Legion" in his palm. The battle has now started! Kai storms the headquarters of the Quadra Knights with his new Kagero deck in hand. During the fight, it is discovered that Aichi decided to isolate himself in order to protect the world from Link Joker, who allegedly plans to reappear using the void seed that was put in Aichi's body when he defeated the inverted Takuto Tatsunagi a second time. Sera want this seed in order to harness Link Joker's strength and rule the world. Kai begrudgingly joins the other Four Knights to stop Sera. After Sera is vanquished, Aichi fights Kai with the strength of Blaster Joker, his inverted persona. Kai overcomes its immense power, and the genuine Blaster Blade appears and separates the void seed, eliminating Link Joker forever. After a few months, Kai is about to graduate from high school and must choose between going to college and becoming a professional cardfighter. A card tournament is being held at the capital shop on the day of the graduation ceremony. In the championship round, Aichi and Kai engage in the equal and amicable conflict he has long desired. Kai says that Aichi and he won't be able to fight again for a very long time and that Gaillard invited him to travel to Europe. They would undoubtedly cross paths again as long as they continued playing vanguard, Aichi retorted.
