In a quest to gather more mates who remember Aichi, Kai tries to get Ren to recall him. Unfortunately, Ren cannot remember him, and Kai leaves in disappointment. Later, after a day of school, Kai decides to cardfight Miwa in an attempt to remind him of Aichi. So, Kai faces off against Miwa, who is using the former's Kagero deck. As the cardfight progresses, memories of Aichi slowly pop into Miwa's mind, but he still does not fully remember him. When Kai finishes the match with a Legion attack from both Seeker, Thing Saver Dragon and Blaster Blade Seeker, Miwa finally remembers Aichi...
