PLOT
Captain Tsubasa is the passionate account of an elementary school pupil whose goals and aspirations are largely centered upon his or her enthusiasm for soccer. Tsubasa Oozora, 11, began playing soccer at an early age, and while it was primarily simply a fun activity for his pals, it turned into something of an obsession for him. Tsubasa travels to Nankatsu city with his mother in order to pursue his passion to the best of his elementary school abilities because the city is renowned for its top-notch elementary school soccer teams. Although Nankatsu was without a doubt the best in his old town, there is now a lot more competition, so he will need to use every bit of his talent and expertise to stand out from the crowd. Along with rivals, he meets new acquaintances like the attractive Sanae Nakazawa and the skilled goalie Genzo Wakabayashi, who shares his enthusiasm and will prove to be a valuable ally in supporting Tsubasa as he pursues his goals. Tsubasa's ultimate goal is to play for Japan in the FIFA World Cup, but getting there will require much more than just talent.
