PLOT
A peculiar bout of insomnia afflicted the populace 60 years ago, making many stay awake for more than a week. The victims all lost their minds because they were sleep deprived. A novel medication was developed to treat this condition, but the side effects transformed the patients into vampires. Despite winning the battle against this new species, some vampires managed to survive. The primary character Mi Liu, "The Child of Hope," is meant to stand in for the new hope that would unite the two races. She is a hybrid of a Human and a Vampire. Mi Liu, the mastermind of a bank heist, is detained and sent to a special National Defense Agency prison that keeps an eye on vampires. Mi Liu is attacked by weird creatures while attempting to escape with Anji, and he learns that the prison's location corresponds to the historic capital of the vampires, known as "Blue Town," where vampires were first born. How come vampires are confined to Blue Town? What bizarre creatures are they attacking them? To unravel those secrets, our heroes must struggle.
