PLOT

The 4:44 ceremony, according to urban legend, involves producing frequencies with a radio in front of the Akeyuki Sacred Tree at precisely 4:44 to send participants into another dimension. Asuka Tsuchimiya, together with her friends Nana Nanase, Mia Silverstone, Yuu Tounaka, and Chloe Morisu, decide to carry out this ritual as a Crystal Radio Research Club activity. When the ritual is successful, they are startled. The five visit a fragment—a parallel world—where they see Asuka's parallel-world self, a girl who seems uncannily familiar. Asuka is known as Seriouska because of her serious demeanor and fighting prowess. Seriouska informs them of the Twilight, the greatest threat to all parallel universes. Seriouska wants to put an end to the Twilight King's assault on the multiverse by killing him as it depletes the parallel worlds of all of their potential. The anime series Akanesasu Shoujo follows the five ladies as they discover how to embrace who they really are while looking for the Twilight King. The answer to the intrusive Twilight, though, might be closer than they realize.
