PLOT
Takuya Enoki is in fifth grade, yet he has a challenging existence. After his mother died in a horrible automobile accident a few months ago, he was left to take care of his younger brother, Minoru, while his father put in the long hours typical of a Japanese salaryman. To care for his younger brother, he will have to forgo his childhood. Takuya will be responsible for cooking, cleaning, fretting, and trying to discipline Minoru while their neighbors accuse him of causing Minoru's unceasing wailing. He will see his pals' carefree lives as they savor their leisure time in the interim. Although it won't be simple and there will be many obstacles in his path, he might end up discovering the true meaning of family in the process.
