PLOT
Takumi Tsuzuki, a high school student, enrolls in the Umenomori Private Academy for free along with Fumino Serizawa, a childhood friend who consistently expresses her emotions in opposition to what she says. He spends the majority of his time at school fighting off Chise Umenomori, the spoiled princess granddaughter of the board chairman, who is constantly trying to drag him into her odd interests. He works at Otome Tsuzuki's "Stray Cats" confectionary after school until it's time for bed, which is run by his adoptive older sister. This describes Takumi's typical day and way of living. Takumi's life is chronicled in Mayoi Neko Overrun as it appears to be on another typical day. Fumino takes it upon herself to wake him up so that he won't be late for their routine walk to school together because his sister is away from the business, having gone to save someone else in need. In the process, she gives him a sight of her blue and white striped underwear. What a pleasant way to begin the day. Nozomi Kiriya, a young woman whose appearance and demeanor are similar to that of a huge cat, is brought home by Otome. She turns out to be a runaway whom Otome is compelled to take in. As Takumi strives to figure out who this enigmatic beauty is and what she is evading, his typical days are turned into glorious pandemonium.
