PLOT
Tatara Fujita is a reserved middle school student who doesn't have any specific plans for the future. He has survived by staying out of any conflicts and blending in with the throng. However, fitting in is insufficient to keep him out of trouble because some bullies bully him for money. Fortunately, Kaname Sengoku, a guy, saves him. Tatara is welcomed by Kaname to his dance studio. Tatara, who ordinarily would never enter such a place, is enthralled by Sengoku's imposing presence. When Tatara is given the chance to dance alongside Shizuku Hanaoka, a fellow classmate who frequently practices at the studio, he finds that something about the prospect of being in the spotlight and dancing where people would see him keeps him coming back. Tatara starts his adventure into the world of competitive dancing with a sincere, ardent desire to get better.
