PLOT
Ten years after the events of Inuyasha, Towa, the daughter of Sesshomaru and Rin, is abandoned with her twin sister Setsuna and is taken in by Kagome Higurashi, the sister-in-law of her father. Towa is nurtured by Kagome's younger brother Sta and his kind wife Moe. Mei, Towa's six-year-old adopted sister and Setsuna's "substitute," and Towa get close. Ten years later, Towa and Setsuna are reunited when she departs the present day using the mysterious Sacred Tree of Ages' powerful time-traveling abilities. Setsuna lost her memories of her history during their separation and later joined Kohaku's team of demon slayers. The mythical Dream Butterfly had taken Setsuna's dreams and memories. The half-demon twins set out on an adventure to restore them, along with their quarter-demon bounty hunter cousin Moroha, the fourteen-year-old daughter of Kagome and Inuyasha, who is unaware of her parents other than the fact that her equally impulsive father is a dog-demon/human hybrid and her human mother is an uppermost-level priestess.
