PLOT

An object that has acquired a soul, becoming alive and conscious, is referred to as a "tsukumogami" in Japanese folklore. Tsukumogami come in two varieties: the adult "tsugumomo," which have evolved over many years of coexistence with their owners, and the aberrant "amasogi," who are young spirits that are only created to carry out the destructive wishes of specific individuals. Since his mother's passing, Kazuya Kagami has never been without his obi. He always carries it safely with him, whether at home or at school. One day, a wig amasogi attacks him, almost taking his life. When all appears to be over, his beloved obi defends him by changing into a stunning woman. She introduces herself as Kazuya's mother's tsugumomo Kiriha. Kazuya enters a reality he has never seen before with Kiriha's arrival—a planet populated by gods and tsukumogami.
