PLOT
There will be a location called Paradise when the earth ends, according to an ancient myth. But wolves alone will know where to look. Although it is thought that wolves were hunted to extinction around 200 years ago, they are still thought to exist. To survive, they weave illusions over themselves to make them resemble human. In a society where the majority of people experience poverty and hardship, Freeze City is a northern human city. An injured lone white wolf named Kiba travels to Freeze City in search of the Lunar Flower, which would unlock Paradise. There he meets Tsume, Hige, and Toboe, three other wolves that have settled in Freeze City as a result of being attracted by the aroma of the Lunar Flower. The wolves come across Quent Yaiden and his dog Blue, a former sheriff of Kyrios who is driven to hunt down wolves. Cher Degré is in charge of the research being done on Cheza, the Flower Maiden who would guide the wolves to paradise. The scent of wolf blood wakes her up. Lord Darcia the Third, whose people produced Cheza, abducts her as Kiba and Hige search the lab for her.
