PLOT
The people of Slantania have endured a miasmic cloak since the dawn of humanity, a force that summons monsters to wreak devastation on the globe. The Grand Magus sends a holy maiden—the fabled "Saint"—to destroy the terrifying beasts and restore peace when the kingdom's Order of Knights is unable to control them. Sei Takanashi is drawn into a strange world one evening as she is making her way home following a long day at work by a supernatural power. Sei and a girl with brown hair were accidentally summoned by the Grand Magus, she learns upon her arrival in the kingdom of Slantania. The prince designates the other girl as the Saint since he only needs one holy maiden, leaving Sei on her own. Sei focuses her attention on the Medicinal Flora Research Institute, a center renowned for its investigations into herbs and concoctions. Sei had an important interaction with the Third Order of Knights leader while engaging in her most recent interest. She has no idea, though, that her ability as a Saint will continue to have an impact on her new life.
