PLOT
Young Prince Arslan struggles with his mother's apathy and his father's hatred in the medieval kingdom of Pars, and he longs to discover more about the outside world. Arslan is surrounded by squalor and slavery, but he never stops believing that a better world might exist. When the neighboring country of Lusitania invades Pars, everything alters, forcing Arslan to suddenly mature. Arslan Senki travels with Prince Arslan as he fights to defend his country and family with the assistance of a select group of committed advisors. The young prince encounters foes who despise him for who he is along the road and discovers secrets around every bend, but he also makes friends in unexpected places. Arslan Senki, a tale of at-war nations, also tells the tale of a little boy's struggle to be true to himself under extremely challenging conditions.
