PLOT
The "Seraphim," a race of supernatural creatures who bless humanity and receive their prayers in return, are mentioned in the Celestial Records. "Shepherds" are those who have been endowed with the capacity to communicate with these spirits. Along with the Seraphim, the Shepherds are legendary figures who are revered for their quick responses in times of need as well as feared for their might. A young human named Sorey has lived in the village of Elysia his entire life, coexisting peacefully with the Seraphim. He and Mikleo, his boyhood Seraphim friend, examine some nearby ruins in an effort to learn more about the tales surrounding the Celestial Records and the Seraphims' interactions with humans. Unfortunately, while conducting their inquiry, they were stuck in the historical site's caverns. They stumble upon a mystery girl while looking for a way out who is pleading with a Shepherd to save the world, which is in danger of succumbing to darkness. Sorey chooses to assist the stranger despite Mikleo's advice against doing so, unintentionally bringing his dream of the harmonious cohabitation of man and Seraphim closer to reality.
