PLOT
Young swordsman Cless Alvein and young archer Chester Barklight experience tragedy as they return to their hamlet of Totus to discover it completely destroyed by the enigmatic Black Knight. The Black Knight wants to use the power of the Demon King, Dhaos, which Cless's ancestors and a young cleric named Mint Adnade put away, to rule the world. The return of Dhaos heralds the potential end of the planet as well as the Black Knight. To gather allies who can defeat the Demon King once and for all, Cless and Mint must now travel a century into the past. The Phantasia Tales The animation follows Cless and Mint as they travel through time to a distant time, where they form a partnership with the summoner Klarth F. Lester and the half-elf sorceress Arche Klaine. They work together to destroy Dhaos and his army in an effort to save both the recent past and the future.
