PLOT
Maka and Soul engage in combat with the witch Medusa, who makes Crona, her offspring and wielder of the demonic sword Ragnarok, gather good people's souls in order to eventually turn into a kishin, an evil god. To bring back Asura, the first kishin who nearly drove the entire world insane before being imprisoned beneath DWMA by Shinigami, Medusa and her allies attack DWMA. Maka, Black Star, and Death the Kid work together to revive Asura, but Medusa's team is able to do so. Asura then departs to cause havoc throughout the world. Franken Stein, a teacher at DWMA and the meister, appears to slay Medusa, and Crona surrenders and enrols at DWMA.
