PLOT
Nana's grandfather has spent his entire life attempting to crystallize the beauty of a rainbow after being charmed by it as a child and seeing a rainbow for the first time. He ultimately finds a means to create such a crystallized rainbow after years of unsuccessful tries and absurd inventions, including a VCR toaster and vacuum cleaning mouse trap. His strategy would succeed by breaking down a rainbow's light into its seven primary hues, reconstructing those colors into seven colorized crystals. His experiment was also successful and only required a brief period of time in the microwave to finish, realizing his desire. In an effort to create a chocolate cake for Yuichi at the time, Nana was looking for the microwave when she accidentally opened the door before the crystal had time to fully harden.
