PLOT
The setting for Shadow Skill is the warrior kingdom of Kurda, where Elle Regu, the main character, recently attained the title of 59th Sevaar, which is given to the most skilled soldiers in that nation. When she fights, she frequently causes havoc in addition to having a drinking habit. Debts are always following Elle, and throughout the series she takes on jobs to pay them off. One of these assignments brings her to the Green Octopus Inn, which eventually serves as the heroes' operational headquarters and is located on an island outside of the city.
