PLOT
The story takes place in the 300th year of the Era of the Gods on the Japanese island of Shikoku in the fictional city of Sanshu, which is based on the actual city of Kan'onji in Kagawa Prefecture. The Sanshu Middle School Hero Club is comprised of Yna, Mimori, F, and Itsuki, who are all committed to assisting those in need. The Hero Club members are unexpectedly caught in an explosion of light while going about their daily lives. They are then taken to a strange forest, where they come with monsters called as Vertex who are out to kill the Shinju, the guardian deity who protects and blesses humanity. Yuna and her pals are required to turn into "heroes" with magical abilities through a special phone application provided by Taisha, an organization dedicated to the Shinju, in order to save their world from impending disaster.
