PLOT
Mayumi Doujima pledges her parents that if she is unable to locate a star she once saw in the distance by the time she becomes 14 years old, she will give up on her aspirations of becoming an astronaut. Upon learning of her predicament, the eccentric Manabu Soutouin offers to assist her in her search for the star along with the other members of the enigmatic Pretty Boy Detective Club at Yubiwa Academy, whose guiding principle is to "Be pretty, be a boy, and be a detective!" But Mayumi is special because she can see a lot of things that normal people can't. She can notice even the smallest details thanks to her vision, including distant persons approaching her and covert traps that would otherwise go undetected. The Pretty Boy Detective Club is involved in something far beyond what they could have ever dreamed when the search for the missing celebrity starts to go south.
