PLOT
Rebecca Miyamoto, a child prodigy homeroom teacher, and the antics of her class 1-C are the focus of Pani Poni Dash's main plot. The characters are students in a high school named Peach Moon Academy where Rebecca, the youngest graduate of MIT, has accepted a job as one of the teachers while being observed by space aliens who occasionally ruin the plot. The four first-year courses, 1-A through 1-D, are the story's main emphasis, but the mishaps that take place in them, in the teacher's lounge, and on field trips also serve as the basis for contemporary allusions to satire, anime, the Internet, gaming, and popular culture.
