PLOT
Zeon intelligence in the Universal Century 0079 has discovered a Federation Gundam prototype being worked on in a base of the Federation in the Arctic. Elite Zeon MS commandos are sent to destroy the prototype, but the Gundam is launched into orbit before they can complete their task. The Principality uses the commando crew originally sent to attack the Arctic station, including teenage trainee Bernard "Bernie" Wiseman, to destroy the Gundam when it shows up in a Federation R&D base inside the neutral space colony Side 6. All members of the crew except for Bernie are killed when the raid fails.
