PLOT
When Miki Koishikawa's parents unexpectedly reveal that they are divorcing in order to switch partners with a couple they found back in Hawaii, her normal existence as a sophomore in high school is completely upended. They ask for her acceptance of the shocking modification, and during dinner at a restaurant where Miki meets the other couple and their teenage son Yuu Matsura, who is about her age, she unwillingly consents to the arrangement. Despite Yuu's initial portrayal as a complete jerk who constantly makes fun of and teases Miki, Miki finds herself falling in love with him as he proves to be fun and gorgeous. She gradually comes to terms with her new family situation and confides in Yuu as they get closer.
