PLOT

"Maken-Ki! Battling Venus" is an ecchi harem anime series based on the manga of the same name. The story primarily takes place at Tenbi Academy, a high school that has recently switched from all-girls to co-ed. Unbeknownst to the general public, the students of Tenbi Academy are able to use Maken, special items that grant their users unique powers, and they often engage in duels with each other. The main character, Takeru Ooyama, is a new student at Tenbi Academy. He's excited about the prospect of attending a co-ed school, but he's unaware of the school's special curriculum. Upon his arrival, he learns about the Maken and the duels, and he finds himself caught up in a series of battles.
