PLOT
"Lord Marksman and Vanadis" (known as "Madan no Ou to Vanadis" in Japanese) is a fantasy adventure anime series based on the light novel and manga of the same name. Set in a fantastical version of Europe, the story revolves around Tigrevurmud "Tigre" Vorn, a young nobleman and archer from the kingdom of Brune. After losing a battle against the neighboring kingdom of Zhcted, Tigre is taken prisoner by Eleonora "Elen" Viltaria, one of the seven Vanadis, beautiful and powerful war maidens who rule over Zhcted's territories. Instead of imprisoning him, Elen recognizes Tigre's skills and treats him as an equal. As the story progresses, Tigre finds himself allying with Elen and the other Vanadis to fight against greater threats to their lands, including civil war, invading forces, and dark, supernatural forces.
