PLOT
Eiri Kurahashi, a college art student who works in an antique store, is the main character of the series. One day, he notices a girl's image in an old glass. She seems to be moving and living her life before his eyes, much to his shock. He develops feelings for the girl, and one night around midnight, he manages to get in touch with her. He discovers that she goes by the name Cossette and was an aristocrat's daughter in the eighteenth century. She tells him that because she was murdered by the artist Marcello Orlando, her spirit is trapped inside the glass. She explains to Eiri that a guy must be willing to accept responsibility for the transgressions Marcello did in order to set her free.
