PLOT
The protagonist of Kanokon is Kouta Oyamada, a very naive first-year high school student who transfers to Kunp High School after moving from the country to the city. He meets Chizuru Minamoto, a stunning second-year female student, on his first day at his new school. Chizuru invites him to meet her in the music room by himself. When he shows up, she declares her love for him and unintentionally tells him that she is a fox spirit. Kouta is highly embarrassed by Chizuru's continuous and outward flirting with him, even in front of others. Nozomu Ezomori, a wolf spirit, enters Kouta's school and class shortly after the story starts. She is all over Kouta from the start, which makes him look even worse and irritates Chizuru about her new rival for Kouta's devotion.
