PLOT
A fictitious combat sport called Crush Gear features machines that can be modified for maximum impact. When two players engage in a Gear Fight in a game, the winner is determined by whose fighter's Gear is able to push its opponent off the field of battle. Gekitou! The video game Crush Gear Turbo depicts the narrative of Kouya Marino, an eleven-year-old player for the Tobita Club, a Japanese Crush Gear squad that was captained by Yuhya Marino, who was killed in a sad accident four years prior and was the Asian Cup champion and World Cup finals qualifier. Kouya's abilities are far behind those of his brother, and he almost lost an elimination match because he was late to the clubhouse. Takeshi Manganji, a former teammate of Yuhya, quits the team and founds a new club, compelling the other players to join the Manganji Club. Kouya doesn't give up and ends up inheriting a Crush Gear from his deceased brother, the Garuda Eagle, as the Tobita Club faces extinction. Kouya needs to figure out how to restore the Tobita Club to its former splendor. He gradually perfects his Gear Fighting tactics with the aid of his new friends and begins to view Crush Gear as a valuable buddy, which helps him win. He makes friends with his rival by detecting the same emotions in him.
