PLOT
Numerous actual individuals from Japanese history are dramatized in Crimson Moon, which is set in Japan during the Heian period. This time, Garo is a young Japanese man named Raikou who must rely on his companion, a female Makai Alchemist named Seimei, whose Makai magic enables him to transform into Garo to battle the Horrors infesting Heian-ky. Raikou is unable to properly summon the Garo armor on his own and must instead rely on Seimei. A young lad named Kintoki who wants to follow in Raikou's footsteps is among them. A fallen Makai Alchemist named Ashiya Douman, who summons Horrors to carry out his will, is the wicked opponent they face along the way. Later, Fujiwara no Yasusuke, who takes on the role of Zanga the White Lotus Knight's armor bearer, joins them in battle.
