PLOT
Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato, two high school students, are struck by a subway train while attempting to rescue the life of a drunken homeless man who had fallen into the tracks. After they pass away, Kurono and Kato find themselves in an empty Tokyo apartment where they encounter Gantz veteran Joichiro Nishi and other illiterate participants. They quickly come to the realization that they cannot leave the flat. The "Gantz" object, a huge black spherical, is located at one end of the chamber.
