PLOT
In a few hundred years, the Earth's natural resources will have been depleted, and human advancement will have stalled. Delivery kid Hajiki Sanada resides in Unit Blue, in the underdeveloped area of the Unit known as "Night Town," with his mother and sister. He unintentionally comes upon a curious contraption called a "Gad" while delivering a box that responds to the emotions of those around it. The Gad changes into a humanoid robot known as a "Techode," according to the movie. Hajiki quickly learns that other people have encountered a Gad as well, and that encounters with them don't always go as to plan. His attempts to adjust to his new companions, his techode, and his life in Night Town are chronicled in the series.
