PLOT
Cocona appears to be a typical middle schooler going about her daily life with her grandmother. She meets Papika, an outgoing but eccentric girl, while she mulls over what kind of work she might pursue in the future. Papika shows immediate interest in Cocona. She drags her into a group called Flip Flap without reluctance. This group specializes in locating enigmatic, amorphous bits that are purported to grant desires and come from numerous Pure Illusion other realms. In Pure Illusion, Cocona and Papika are instantly dispatched to a different realm after finishing their first job. They utilize their shards to change into magical females, Cocona becoming Pure Blade and Papika becoming Pure Barrier, as a terrifying thing hunts them.
