PLOT
Tatsumiyajima is the main island in the center of a tiny group of islands in a quiet region of the Japanese islands. There isn't much going on, and the youth of the island attend school knowing that their lives are likely to be calm and unbothered. Or at least that's what they've been told; the reality is otherwise. Tatsumiyajima is the last line of defense against a hostile and impenetrable foe, and the fate of humanity is at stake. The dragon that defends this last piece of humanity's heritage, the enormous robot Fafner, is at the core of it all, fighting for Humanity's survival.
