PLOT
Japan has been transformed to a desert as a result of an implied global nuclear catastrophe ("The Great Kanto Desert"), and the humans who have survived look for a fragile life among the burning sands. The adventures of mercenary Kanta Mizuno, known as Desert Punk (Sunabzu) for his almost impossible acts of skill and bravery while on the job, are the main subject of Desert Punk. He hires an apprentice, makes a few friends and a lot of foes during the series.
