PLOT
The majority of the planet is submerged under water in the future, yet the few cities that are still standing are thriving. Maia Mizuki has been working arduously to fulfill her dream of working for the government-run Ocean Agency. A string of terrible events forces her to work for Neres, a security and investigation firm that will also do practically anything else for enough money, when she is rejected and confronts homelessness and hopelessness. It doesn't take long to see that nobody "normal" works at Neres. Yuu, a quiet, moody woman, is terrifyingly dangerous in combat, Shizuka is a nice, tech-crazy young woman with a passion for food, Glora is a trigger-happy, money-loving tomboy, Rena is the competent, seductive, unofficial leader of this specific Neres office. With Neres, Maia encounters hazardous and bizarre events on a regular basis; it's almost too much for her, but Maia is resilient and she makes an effort to hold on and survive this unexpected turn in her life.
