Shinnosuke "Shin-chan" Nohara, a kindergartener, has never had an ordinary day. The five-year-old is a cut above even the most disruptive, repulsive, and shameless child one can think of. Shin-chan is nearly constantly involved in dubious activities, such as ignoring a friend during a game of hide and seek, sumo wrestling for a woman, pulling practical jokes in front of people, including the infamous "elephant," and flirting with college females. The perfect troublemaker has already done everything and has no intention of stopping any time soon. With his friends, Crayon Shin-chan keeps up with Shin-everyday chan's antics while disguising himself as the "Kasukabe Defense Force." The adults seeing these mischiefs take place can't help but love Shin-chan because he amuses them while unwittingly fixing their problems through his mindless actions, leaving him as the sole issue they are unsure how to handle.
