PLOT
A hyperspace gate that connected Earth to an odd realm with fairies and monsters first appeared in the middle of the Pacific Ocean fifteen years ago. Over two million of these alien guests settled in the city of San-Teresa. Unfortunately, the increased population also brought its fair share of issues, including trafficking, prostitution, and drug use. In the San-Teresa Metropolitan Police, a new agency was created to address the rampant criminality lying in the city's shadows. Kei Matoba, a former JSDF soldier, is one of the best officers the force has to offer, despite his propensity to occasionally break the law. Kei loses Rick Fury, his buddy and four-year colleague, after a fairy trafficking case goes bad, sending him on a mission for vengeance. The department pairs him up with Tilarna Exedilika, a noble from the Farbani Kingdom, to assist him with the case. She has a responsibility as a Knight of Mirvor to save the noble fairy that Kei came across in his last case. He doesn't like non-humans, yet he agrees to the arrangement since his superiors want it. The unusual team now have to work together and put aside their differences in order to bring the lost fairy home and exact revenge on Kei's partner's killer.
