PLOT
The plot, which takes place in a fictional Germany, is focused on the appearance of vicious "Demoniacs," who are biomechanical beings that emerge from dead bodies. The Demoniacs can merge with nearly all forms of technology, including automobiles and motorcycles, taking control of them and significantly improving their performance. A group of individuals known as XAT, or the Xenogenesis Assault Team, oversees these Demoniacs in an effort to maintain order and learn the causes of the "Demoniac" transformation. A handful of former humans who have become Demoniacs appear throughout the series. While some people utilize their powers for evil, others do good. One will become the "Blassreiter," rising above all other demoniacs.
