PLOT
Earth saw a cataclysm four centuries ago brought on by the demon Anthrasax before she was killed by the Dragon Knight, bringing a new dark era. The Dark Rebel Army is now attacking the Kingdom of Metallicana in an effort to bring back Anthrasax. As a result, the high priest requests that his daughter help Dark Schneider, a dark wizard and the original leader of the Dark Rebel Army who assumed the form of 14-year-old Luche Renren, reawake. Over time, Dark's allies come to understand his true identity and connection to the cataclysm that befell the Old World. In an universe akin to Dungeons & Dragons, Bastard!!'s is about sorcery, vengeance, and other power battles. In this dystopian world, where horrible monsters and untamed animals rule, magic is necessary for people to survive. Each of the four seals that keep the God of Destruction asleep is guarded by one of the four kingdoms.
