Akari Mizunashi, Alice Carroll, and Aika S. Granzchesta are three young women who are still striving to become Prima Undines, expert tour guides gondoliers, in the 24th century on the planet Aqua. Alicia Florence, Athena Glory, and Akira E. Ferrari, the three top Prima Undines in Neo-Venezia and recognized as the "Water Fairies" because of their ability, are assisting the girls. The young apprentices strive hard to conquer any challenges they encounter with their assistance. The story of these three young ladies is told in Aria The Origination as they struggle to become better tour gondoliers in Neo-Venezia, a terraformed recreation of Venice.
