PLOT
Toshihiko Tanaka makes the decision to enroll in Kakegawa High School and join the soccer team in an effort to emulate Yoshiharu Kubo after being inspired by Kubo's outstanding performance that helped Kakegawa High School win a soccer tournament miraculously. Tanaka, a current high school student, is saddened as his aspirations start to abruptly fail. The club's captain, Kubo, is not present due to illness. Even worse, the freshmen are not permitted to participate in regular team practices or practices with the sophomores. The refusal of Tanaka's pals Kenji Shiraishi and Kazuhiro Hiramatsu to join him in the club is the icing on the cake. Kenji and Kazuhiro have both given up soccer for personal reasons, despite the fact that Tanaka and his buddies were formerly regarded as a lethal soccer three in their junior high school years. When Tanaka begins to lose hope, he unexpectedly finds relief from his sadness through a chance encounter with Kazumi Endo, a girl from his youth. Kazumi is disappointed, but she still wants the group to get back together, so she acts naughtily. Tanaka's high school soccer career is thus getting ready to start.
