PLOT
In the far future, the "Shadow Angels" are a menace to humanity once again, mystical creatures that have been absent for 12,000 years have reappeared. They invade human towns and enslave the locals in order to suck up their "prana" (vital energy). Young people with extraordinary abilities from all over the world were recruited and trained to command the "vector machines," three ancient ships that together make the ultimate weapon of mankind, "Aquarion," in order to combat them. The main protagonist of the tale is Apollo, a young man who is thought to be the reincarnation of Apolonius, a fallen angel who fought against his own kind to defend humanity. Few people think it's possible, but despite his wild and dangerous character, he proved to be a vital asset in the fight against the Shadow Angels.
