PLOT
The Wachowski Brothers worked with animators at studios in Japan, Korea, and the US for more than three years to create The Animatrix. A collection of nine animated short films with the same quality as feature films. The world of the Matrix movies permeates every aspect of The Animatrix. Viewers of The Animatrix will meet new characters in original tales woven into the fabric of The Matrix feature films and understand the origins of well-known characters from The Matrix films as well as the history of the Matrix itself.
