Tatewaki Kuno finds out from his manservant Sasuke Sarugakure that Ranma has ailurophobia, the morbid fear of cats. When Kuno uses this fear to his advantage by having Sasuke put cats on Ranma's path, Ranma eventually loses control of himself and starts to act like a cat, thereby unleashing the deadly "Cat Fu" technique.
