At Bumi's suggestion, he imposes a strict training regime, causing more stress and exhaustion. Jinora and Kai discover a herd of young sky bison and are abducted by poachers. With Jinora calling on the aid of spirits, they call to the other airbenders for help, and the criminals are easily overwhelmed. Tenzin promises to consider granting Jinora her airbending master tattoos.
