An unknown virus has spread in wide regions and officials force quarantine around the regions. When security forces remove food and water from the village, the situation becomes abnormal and the locals blame the outsiders. Irie kills himself after a failed attempt to find a cure against the virus. Keiichi and his friends escape from the village, leaving Rika behind.
