Though the Bottle of Purity succeeds in cleaning the village's water supply, Escha and Logy learn that the pollution is coming from the water's source, a set of ruins located upstream and that it will continue. Realizing that the Bottle of Purity will not keep the water clean forever, Escha decides to travel to the ruins with Logy, Nio, and Wilbell and investigate the cause of the pollution.
