PLOT
Anne Halford aspires to continue her family legacy of crafting exquisite candies and earn the prestigious title of Silver Sugar Master, a distinction traditionally granted by royalty. To pursue her dream and journey to the capital, Anne makes an unconventional decision: she acquires Challe, a striking yet uncouth fairy, to serve as her protector. Anne is eager to forge a bond with her new companion, but in a realm where fairies are regarded as mere possessions, Challe is resolute in avoiding any entanglements with humans. Anne Halford is resolute in her pursuit to carry on her mother's candy-making tradition and attain the esteemed rank of Silver Sugar Master, an honor traditionally conferred by the monarchy. To make her way to the capital and fulfill her ambitions, Anne procures the services of Challe, an attractive but blunt-speaking fairy, to act as her guardian. Although Anne hopes to foster a friendship with her new ally, Challe, in a kingdom where fairies are regarded as property, has no interest in establishing connections with humans.
